Lineage II - South East Asia has launched double xp, sp, and drop rate on its servers last July 1, 2008. Not just that, they've also announced triple xp, sp, and drop rate events during weekends of July and August.
Good marketing strategy on the part of L2-SEA, but is it a sign that they're not getting enough subscribers as expected to give out such bargain? Or probably just using increased xp/sp/drop to lure new players as they are introducing a new server called Cadmus? What's next? Change from p2p (pay to play) to free to play? LOL.
I must admit I was dying to play this game when it launched open beta in South East Asia. But after a week of grinding boredom got the best of me. But this enhanced xp and stuff is really tempting. Oh well, got my hands full at the moment so not now I guess.
Btw, p2p MMORPG's aren't that bad. In my experience they're even much cheaper compared to some f2p's (that's if you're willing to shell out some cash to get premiums etc).
Your first 7 days in Lineage II- SEA is free and it's always nice to try new things (esp when free lol) so check it out.
